The hottest corporate law topic you never knew was a corporate law topic
Historically, climate change was thought of exclusively within the province of ‘environment & planning’ law. However, with its evolution from a purely ‘environmental, ethical’ issue to one that presents material financial risks and opportunities across the economy, the entire book of commercial law has been opened to corporate actions (and failures to act) on climate change. Join Sarah Barker as she sets out the evolving points of intersection between climate change and commercial law – from fiduciary duty, to contract and tort.
