The Friends of the Library present an evening with Dr. Hossein Asgari: A Journey Through Fiction and Science. His debut novel, Only Sound Remains, has already garnered widespread acclaim, making the shortlist for both the prestigious Miles Franklin Literary Award and the Victorian Premier's Literary Awards in 2024.
Join us for a thought-provoking and lively conversation as we dive into the mind behind the powerful narratives that have appeared in The Suburban Review, Overland, The Saltbush Review, and soon, Splinter.
Hosted by Annie Waters, former co-director of the National Young Writers Festival.
Doors open at 5.30 pm for 6.00pm start. 6.00pm-7.00pm conversation, followed by light beverages.
